It was the alley-oop heard \u2018round the world between LeBron James<\/strong> and his son, LeBron \u201cBronny\u201d James Jr.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duo connected for the NBA\u2019s first-ever alley-oop bucket between a dad and his son during the Los Angeles Lakers\u2019 112-108 win over the Houston Rockets on Friday, April 24.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was calling for it,\u201d LeBron said of the historic moment after the game. \u201cI\u2019ve seen his steps for so long, and he was gathering, and I was like, \u2018Just go get it,\u2019 so I was happy he was able to go up and reverse it.\u201d<\/p>\n

LeBron \u2014 who finished the game with 29 points and 13 rebounds \u2014 also called out the Rockets for allegedly showing \u201cdisrespect\u201d towards his son in regards to Bronny\u2019s three-point shooting skills.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLeBron James continues to make history, this time with his son. During the NBA playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets on Saturday, April 19, James and his son, LeBron \u201cBronny\u201d James Jr, became the first father-son duo in NBA history to play together in a postseason game. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bronny hit a three-pointer in the second quarter of Friday\u2019s game, off a screen from his dad.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe also made a three when they tried to disrespect him and go under on a pick-and-roll,\u201d LeBron told reporters. \u201cHe gave us great minutes; everybody who played gave us great minutes, but that was a special moment, obviously.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cYoung players, the amount of confidence that a young kid in our league can get from a postseason game. You would never get nervous from a regular-season moment ever again when you play meaningful postseason games in postseason minutes, and he\u2019s done that, and I think that\u2019s just pretty cool for his career, for his confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bronny finished 2-for-2 from the floor with five points (the three-pointer and the alley-oop). With stars Luka Doncic and Austin Reeves still out with injuries, Bronny has helped cover minutes throughout the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the series \u2014 on April 19 \u2014 LeBron and Bronny became the first father-son duo in NBA history to play together in a playoff game.<\/p>\n
