\n\tFollowing her appearance on Margo\u2019s Got Money Troubles<\/em> as wrestler Lace, the Oscar winner\u2019s co-star Nick Offerman praised her for working while flu-stricken to get what the show needed with a \u201chuge set piece\u201d of a wrestling fan convention, featuring \u201chundreds of extras.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re there in the morning, we\u2019re getting warmed up \u2014 some of us are going to be performing some actual wrestling, and so we have our doubles, we have people we\u2019re working with,\u201d he explained to People<\/em>. \u201cAnd the word comes in that Nicole has the flu, and we might not get Nicole today. And we\u2019re like, \u2018Oh no, that\u2019s such a bummer, because we only have the one day that we\u2019ve built this whole circus for.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOfferman added, \u201cIt\u2019s about 8:00 in the morning that we get this news. Come to be about 11:00 a.m., the word comes in: Nicole\u2019s coming.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Emmy-winning actor recalled Kidman was \u201cso sick\u201d when she arrived to set, explaining that she was \u201cso pale, shaken\u201d and \u201chad the flu really so bad,\u201d but she \u201cshe showed up and made sure that we got every shot of her, total superhero style, did everything we needed to so that we did not lose one scrap of what we needed for her character.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Kidman wrapped, Offerman said she \u201cwas literally taken to the hospital for an IV.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd I just said to her, I already admired you so much, but this is how you get to be Nicole Kidman, is you show up so that your show doesn\u2019t lose a minute of your value,\u201d added Offerman. \u201cIt was so generous. It was astonishing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith her performance as a lawyer\/wrestler who reunites in the ring with Offerman\u2019s Jinx, showrunner David E. Kelley told Deadline that Kidman \u201cembraced\u201d the role.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI thought, \u2018Okay, we\u2019re going to throw this character at her, a lawyer slash wrestler, and Nicole is going to say, \u201cNow you\u2019ve taken it too far. I\u2019m not going to do that.\u201d\u2018 But she embraced it. She [said], \u2018Okay. Can I jump in the ring and actually wrestle?\u2019 And she was fantastic in it. She was believable in the ring, and she was believable as a lawyer. So there\u2019s a reason she gets all those job opportunities. She\u2019s pretty good at her craft.\u201d<\/p>\n
