Lisa Rinna<\/strong>\u2018s iconic cameo on Running Point<\/em> left an impression on her costars.<\/p>\n

Drew Tarver<\/strong>, who shared scenes with Rinna, exclusively spoke with Us Weekly<\/em> about their scenes, saying, \u201cOh, my God. She was so funny. Her screaming at me \u2014 it was very fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tarver praised Rinna for her ability to play an elevated version of herself, adding, \u201cShe\u2019s really good at it. And I was scared.\u201d<\/p>\n

The hit Netflix series, which premiered in 2025, follows Kate Hudson<\/strong> as a reformed party girl who gets the chance to prove herself when she is left in charge of her family\u2019s pro basketball team.<\/p>\n

The hit Netflix series, which premiered in 2025, follows Kate Hudson as a reformed party girl who gets the chance to prove herself when she is left in charge of her family\u2019s pro basketball team. In addition to Hudson, Running Point<\/em> stars Scott MacArthur, Fabrizio Guido, Chet Hanks, Toby Sandeman, Justin Theroux<\/strong>, Tarver, Brenda Song<\/strong> and Uche Agada<\/strong>. The sports comedy has also prided itself on its star-studded cameos.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Us<\/em> ahead of season 2, several cast members showed support for a potential appearance from Hudson\u2019s stepfather, Kurt Russell<\/strong>. Us suggested Russell play the late Gordon patriarch back in April 2026, which the cast happily cosigned.<\/p>\n

MacArthur, who plays Ness, joked that he \u201calways thought\u201d of Russell as his dad anyway, adding, \u201cSo I\u2019m all in.\u201d Guido, who portrays Gordon family newcomer Jackie, said he would also love to share the screen with Russell.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been around, and I didn\u2019t even think of that. Wow!\u201d he noted, while season 2 guest star Ken Marino added in his own interview with Us<\/em>, \u201cThat\u2019d be fantastic! Yes, that\u2019s perfect. Get that out there!\u201d<\/p>\n
