Storage Wars<\/em> star Dusty Riach<\/strong> is recalling former costar Darrell Sheets<\/strong>\u2019 last \u201codd\u201d interaction before his untimely death.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t the buying and selling that was odd. It was really the interaction,\u201d Riach exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Sunday, April 26. \u201cBecause Darrell is not the type of person to just roll over on an offer. He was a fighter for the last dollar in any deal. And he was asking a pretty substantial amount of money for a deal that one of my friends was buying from him. And then my friend kind of shot him quite a large deficit off of what he was asking. And Darrell just was like, \u2018Yeah, that\u2019s great.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Riach continued, \u201cMy friend was just like, \u2018That\u2019s kind of weird,\u2019 but didn\u2019t think anything of it at the time. For Darrell not to come back at you, it\u2019s just kind of weird. I had no idea, and my friend hadn\u2019t told me until after we found out what happened [to Sheets]. My friend said that it felt like he was tying up his affairs,\u201d adding that Sheets even called him to ensure the check would clear.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Daryl was asking $125,000 and my friend gave him $50,000 [for an estate collection],\u201d he added. \u201cFor him to ask that much and then my friend to offer him that \u2014 [without Darrell saying] give me $60,000, or like, pushing for an extra five grand \u2026 Darrell said yep, that\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven the last watch deal I did with Darrell, we were bickering over like, $50 with each other. So I would say this was 110 percent fully out of character for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> confirmed on Wednesday, April 22, that Sheets died by an apparent suicide. He was 67.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe latest episode of Storage Wars: Back to the Locker included a tribute to late series personality Darrell Sheets just days after his untimely death. The Saturday, April 25, episode of the A+E docuseries ended with a title card that read \u201cIn Memoriam Darrell Sheets\u201d alongside the dates of Sheets\u2019 birth and death. Us Weekly [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A spokesperson for the Lake Havasu City Police Department told Us<\/em> that authorities responded to a call in the early morning hours on Wednesday. Officers were dispatched to an Arizona residence, where they discovered the reality star\u2019s body.<\/p>\n

An official cause of death has not been confirmed as the incident is under active investigation.<\/p>\n

Riach said that during the \u201clast deal\u201d he made with Darrell the pair were \u201cbickering over, like, $50 with each other,\u201d so he believes that final \u201codd\u201d interaction was \u201c110 percent fully out of character\u201d for Darrell.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe cast of A&E\u2019s reality series Storage Wars has come together to mourn their late costar Darrell Sheets following his death at age 67 from suicide. Lake Havasu City, Arizona, police confirmed to Us Weekly on April 22 that officers responded to calls about a \u201creported deceased individual\u201d earlier in the day and subsequently \u201cpronounced [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe came to the swap meet where I sell and we had lunch,\u201d he recalled. \u201cOff camera we were friends, you know, we could talk and to me he was the strongest person. You could say whatever you wanted to him and he would say whatever he wanted back to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cWe were just good friends like that, you know? For this whole thing to happen is just such a shocker for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Riach remembers their last meeting fondly, which made the tragic news that much harder to believe.<\/p>\n
