Paige Shiver<\/strong>, who accused former University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore<\/strong> of breaking into her apartment after his firing, has revealed more details about their years-long relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shiver, 32, said her relationship with Moore, 40, transitioned from professional to romantic in January 2022, when she was an intern and Moore was the team\u2019s co-offensive coordinator.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe originally would direct message me on Instagram,\u201d Shiver said during an interview on ABC\u2019s Nightline<\/i>, which aired on Friday, April 24. \u201cHe started reacting to my Stories with a fire emoji.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Shiver alleges Moore \u2014 who has been married to his wife, Kelli Moore<\/strong>, since July 2015 \u2014 would message her asking questions like \u201cWhat\u2019s your drink of choice?\u201d and \u201cWhat alcohol do you like?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKelli Moore, the wife of former University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore, was concerned about her husband\u2019s welfare and pleaded with authorities to locate him shortly after he was fired. \u201cI\u2019m worried that my husband is going to hurt himself. Can you guys track his phones?\u201d Kelli asked 911 dispatchers in audio obtained [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe was always coming down to my desk, always talking to me,\u201d Shiver said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shiver claimed she did not know Sherrone was married during the \u201cfirst month\u201d of their relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time, I didn\u2019t know his wife was pregnant,\u201d Shiver said. \u201cWhen I found out, I confronted him and he said, \u2018Yes, you know, it is what it is. But we\u2019re still getting a divorce.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sherrone and Kelli never got divorced and share three daughters: Shiloh<\/strong>, born in 2019, Solei<\/strong>, born in 2022, and Sadie<\/strong>, born in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shiver claimed she became pregnant with Sherrone\u2019s baby in May 2022, but was forced to end the pregnancy after the baby was diagnosed with Pompe disease, a genetic disorder that weakens muscle strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMultiple doctors and experts told me that it wouldn\u2019t be right or healthy for me to keep the baby,\u201d Shiver said on Nightline<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shiver said she wanted to keep the baby and Sherrone was aware of the pregnancy, allegedly telling her to \u201cdo what\u2019s right for your body.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sherrone was later arrested in December 2025 and charged with felony home invasion, misdemeanor stalking and misdemeanor breaking and entering, all of which were ultimately dropped.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During a court appearance in March, Sherrone pleaded no contest to new misdemeanor charges of malicious use of a telecommunications device in context of a domestic relationship and trespassing.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe investigation into former head football coach Sherrone Moore\u2019s conduct \u2014 and its subsequent fallout \u2014 came with a hefty price tag for the University of Michigan. The school has spent at least $6 million looking into Moore\u2019s behavior and the overall culture within the athletic department, according to records obtained by the Detroit Free [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The former head coach was sentenced to 18 months probation on April 14, avoiding any jail time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
