President Donald Trump<\/span><\/strong> found a recent Jimmy Kimmel<\/span><\/strong> monologue to be no laughing matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny as attested to by his terrible Television Ratings, made a statement on his show that is really shocking,\u201d Trump, 79, shared via his Truth Social<\/span> on Monday, April 27. \u201cHe showed a fake video of the First Lady, Melania<\/strong>, and our son, Barron, like they were actually sitting in his studio, listening to him speak, which they weren\u2019t, and never would be. He then stated, \u2018Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

During the Thursday, April 23, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/i><\/span>, Kimmel, 58, parodied the<\/span> annual White House Correspondents\u2019 Association Dinner days before it was scheduled to occur in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

While pretending to be the host of the evening, Kimmel poked fun at Melania, 56, and other major headlines surrounding the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJimmy Kimmel had choice words for President Donald Trump on his second show back on the air on Wednesday, September 24. During his opening monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian, 57, addressed Trump\u2019s Truth Social post the day earlier, in which the president chastised ABC for lifting Kimmel\u2019s recent suspension. Trump further alluded to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Two days after Kimmel\u2019s monologue, a gunman opened fire<\/span> during the dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel and was apprehended at the scene. All attendees, including Donald and Melania, were safe. The suspect appeared in court on Monday and was charged with three criminal counts.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel\u2019s despicable call to violence, and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said but this is something far beyond the pale,\u201d Donald wrote via Truth Social. \u201cJimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hours earlier, Melania also slammed the late night host for his jokes<\/span> about the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner.<\/p>\n

\u201cKimmel\u2019s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country,\u201d Melania shared via X<\/span> on Monday. \u201cHis monologue about my family isn\u2019t comedy \u2014 his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn\u2019t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cA coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC\u2019s leadership enable Kimmel\u2019s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community?\u201d<\/p>\n

Donald has been a longtime vocal critic of Kimmel and supported ABC\u2019s decision to temporarily suspend<\/span> Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/i> in September 2025 following controversial jokes about Charlie Kirk<\/strong>\u2018s death<\/span>.<\/p>\n
