Angelina Jolie<\/strong> and The Real Housewives of Potomac<\/em> star Gizelle Bryant<\/strong> revealed an unexpected bond at a sorority event in Atlanta over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Bryant, 55, shared photos of herself and the Hollywood icon, 50, posing with their daughters \u2014 Angel<\/strong>, 19, and Zahara<\/strong>, 21, respectively \u2014 during a brunch at Spelman College on Sunday, April 26. The RHOP<\/em> star celebrated the \u201cmother-daughter magic,\u201d as Angel and Zahara are both members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.<\/p>\n

Social media footage from the event \u2014 which was sponsored by Pearls of Purpose Foundation and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority \u2014 showed Zahara delivering a speech about the \u201cvalue of mother-daughter relationships.\u201d (Zahara is graduating from Spelman College with a major in psychology.)<\/p>\n

\u201cIt felt challenging to find the words \u2026 Not challenging because I don\u2019t value it, but because my mom and I have a unique, almost kindred relationship that can be hard to put into words,\u201d Zahara explained.<\/p>\n

Zahara touched on the dynamic within her famous family. (Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt<\/strong> also shared Maddox<\/strong>, 24, Pax<\/strong>, 22, Shiloh<\/strong>, 19 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17.)<\/p>\n

\u201cOur love for each other is a found one,\u201d she explained. \u201cI was adopted at 6 months old and given some of the most special and loving people as my siblings. With a mom who raised us on the value of helping others, being kind and always striving for growth as people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThese values may sound simple, but in a world where kindness is overlooked and helping others comes at a cost, I am grateful to have had a role model show me what it looks like to be a decent human being,\u201d she argued. \u201cFor any daughters in the room who may know the feeling of seeing their mom as a superhero and not knowing how she does it, this is something I\u2019ve been trying to understand my whole life.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to describe Jolie as \u201cthe most selfless, loving and understanding woman that I get to call my mom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the addition of the public life that we live, it can be difficult to find those special and intimate moments without being overwhelmed with the many eyes that are on us,\u201d Zahara acknowledged. \u201cThis has never stopped my mom from being curious about all that I am learning in and outside of my classrooms at Spelman.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bryant has a 35-year history with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, as she was a member during her college years at Hampton University. Her daughter, Adore, is also a member of the historic sorority at Hampton.<\/p>\n
