Production has picked back up on season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> \u2014 but is every cast member returning?<\/p>\n

Viewers were originally introduced to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> cast after the show premiered on Hulu in 2024. Among the stars front and center were Jen Affleck<\/strong> and husband Zac Affleck, Demi Engemann<\/strong> and husband Bret Engemann, Whitney Leavitt<\/strong> and husband Conner Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews<\/strong> and husband Jace Terry, Mayci Neeley<\/strong> and husband Jacob Neeley, Jessi<\/strong> Draper<\/strong> and Jordan Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong> and then-partner Dakota Mortensen<\/strong> and Layla Taylor.<\/p>\n

Miranda McWhorter<\/strong>, meanwhile, joined the show in season 2 after her split from Chase McWhorter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After airing four seasons \u2014 and hosting several crossovers with Vanderpump Villa<\/em> \u2014 production was halted on the show in March 2026 after an alleged domestic violence incident between Taylor and Dakota one month prior. Dakota and Taylor subsequently filed temporary restraining orders against each other, with Dakota earning temporary custody of their son, Ever. Taylor was granted supervised visits until their next court hearing.<\/p>\n

When Hulu debuted The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in September 2024, viewers were introduced to Jen Affleck and husband Zac Affleck, Demi Engemann and husband Bret Engemann, Whitney [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Bachelorette also canceled Taylor\u2019s season of the ABC reality dating series days before its premiere. Authorities have since confirmed that Taylor would not be charged with any crime for the February 2026 incident with Dakota.<\/p>\n

Jen Affleck<\/h2>\n

Jen and husband Zac Affleck<\/strong> will appear in season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>. The reality star has also teased an appearance on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County<\/em> spinoff.<\/p>\n

Demi Engemann<\/h2>\n

After having a limited role in season 4, Demi is likely not returning to the show. It hasn\u2019t been confirmed, however, whether Demi and husband Bret Engemann<\/strong> officially exited The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Whitney Leavitt<\/h2>\n

Whitney has hinted that she isn\u2019t sure about a return to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>. Whitney and her husband, Conner Leavitt<\/strong>, have been living in New York City amid her stint on Broadway\u2019s Chicago<\/em> as Roxie Hart.<\/p>\n

Mikayla Matthews<\/h2>\n

Mikayla teased that season 5 will address her separation from husband Jace Terry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mayci Neeley<\/h2>\n

Mayci filmed for season 5 while her sister McCall DaPron<\/strong> headlined The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County<\/em> cast.<\/p>\n

Jessi Draper<\/h2>\n

News broke while season 5 was in production that Jordan Ngatikaura<\/strong> filed for divorce from Jessi. Their divorce will likely play out on screen \u2014 with a possible return from Marciano Brunette<\/strong> who has been spending time with Jessi since her marriage came to an end.<\/p>\n

Taylor Frankie Paul<\/h2>\n

\u201cThe producers and cast have welcomed Taylor to return to this year\u2019s filming,\u201d a source told Us Weekly about Taylor\u2019s future on the show after production picked back up. \u201cIt is still unclear whether she will come back this year, but she is expected to be back in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider noted to Us that Taylor is \u201cfocused on her mental health,\u201d adding, \u201cShe does want to return at some point.\u201d<\/p>\n
