Taylor Swift<\/strong> looked ready to step into spring as she was spotted with her father, Scott Swift<\/strong>, in New York City on Monday, April 27.<\/p>\n

The pop star looked effortlessly chic in a light blue and white striped shift dress. According to InStyle<\/em>, the $325 dress is from Los Angeles brand Staud, which describes the outfit as made from lightweight cotton poplin. The dress features a \u201ccorset-style panel construction to create a flattering, fitted shape through the waist and a full skirt which hits just below the knee,\u201d per Staud.<\/p>\n

Taylor, 36, paired her look with dark sunglasses and her signature red lipstick and wore her hair loosely tied back. But it was the bag that the \u201cFate of Ophelia\u201d singer was carrying that really completed her sunny look. Taylor was spotted clutching the Mini Lady Dior Bag with Strap in buttercup yellow. The bag retails at $9,500, per the Dior website.<\/p>\n

Taylor and Scott were joined by the singer\u2019s friend, Ashley Avignone<\/strong>, as they entered the Jane Hotel, reported TMZ. In a video published by the outlet, Taylor can be seen helping her dad out of a car.<\/p>\n

Scott, 74, underwent quintuple bypass surgery last summer, with Taylor later revealing that he was on the mend.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s doing so great,\u201d she said during an October 2025 appearance on SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cMorning Mash Up.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cBy his own accord, he\u2019s actually at 150 percent now. So he\u2019s definitely got too much energy. He\u2019s doing amazing. I\u2019m so happy. To contextualize this, my dad had a quintuple bypass surgery over the summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest part of our summer was, as a family, just taking care of him and getting him back to his old self,\u201d Taylor said. \u201cHe had amazing medical care and help. The doctors and nurses that I\u2019m going to be forever grateful for. It recontextualizes to you what matters, honestly. It really does. Thank you for mentioning that because it reminds me how lucky I am that he pulled through.\u201d<\/p>\n
