The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em>\u2019 PK Kemsley<\/strong> is opening up about his divorce from Dorit Kemsley<\/strong>, revealing how the show affected their marriage.<\/p>\n

PK, 58, and Dorit, 49, announced their separation in May 2024, with Dorit filing for divorce from the talent manager and entrepreneur in April 2025. The exes share son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10.<\/p>\n

In a wide-ranging interview with relationship expert Paul C. Brunson<\/strong> on the latter\u2019s \u201cWe Need to Talk\u201d podcast on Tuesday, April 28, PK revealed how appearing on the Bravo reality show changed both him and Dorit and their relationship, leaving him to wonder about his wife, \u201cWho are you?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not blaming that show [for] my divorce or my relationship or who I think Dorit is now versus who I think she was, or who I am now,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cI think the biggest question that I have that will never be answered is that, is Dorit where she was always going to be and always going to end up, or was I responsible for putting her in that world and then that world created what happened now?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tNot long after Dorit Kemsley met real estate developer Paul \u201cPK\u201d Kemsley in 2011, romance flourished \u2014 but their journey has had its obstacles over the years. \u201cWell, we met and we didn\u2019t really have our first official date for a couple of months,\u201d the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recalled during a September [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBecause there\u2019s no question that before we did that [show] \u2026 If you talk about happy times, I remember living in Tribeca, we had a beautiful apartment, and then we had the baby, and life was pretty f***ing good,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

PK said that it was his idea for Dorit to go on RHOBH<\/em> after the couple moved to Los Angeles. Looking back, he said, \u201cWho drove the bus into the wall? Me.\u201d (Dorit and PK joined the cast during season 7, which aired from December 2016 to April 2017.)<\/p>\n

He explained, \u201cThe show likes to go back and only talk about bad things. They build up this vision of who you are as a person, as a couple, and then you start repeating it, you start believing it, and suddenly you find yourself [saying], \u2018What are you talking about? I\u2019m nothing like that guy. I\u2019m nothing like the person they\u2019re showing.\u2019 And I\u2019m looking at my wife and saying, \u2018Who are you?\u2019 It\u2019s scary when you look at it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, PK said that he doesn\u2019t \u201cwant that period of my life to define me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat show\u2026 it\u2019s not my life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a TV show that shows snippets of my life based on the premise of the show,\u201d he went on to allege. \u201cAnd they cut it, they edit it, they allow story lines that even the producers know are not true to grow, because that\u2019s the brilliance of the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

PK said that he has chosen not to address Dorit\u2019s claims about their separation and divorce on the show for the sake of their children. (During season 14, Dorit claimed her ex was a \u201cfull-blown alcoholic,\u201d which he denied at the time. During the currently airing season 15, Dorit alleged that PK \u201cdoesn\u2019t give me any money\u201d and that she was paying all the household bills for their family home.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been very clear that I do not want to litigate my divorce publicly. I don\u2019t think it serves in the best interests of the kids,\u201d PK said during Tuesday\u2019s interview.<\/p>\n
