Eric Dane<\/strong>\u2018s ex-girlfriend Priya Jain<\/strong> addressed his scenes in Euphoria<\/em>\u2018s third season, which were filmed shortly before the actor\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been watching. It is an incredible show and a great season,\u201d Jain, 28, who dated Dane from 2024 to 2025, told TMZ<\/em> on Monday, April 27.<\/p>\n

Jain was happy to see Dane reprise the role of Cal one last time, adding, \u201cEric is incredible in everything that he has ever been in. It is amazing to see him act.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress was also asked what she thought of Dane\u2019s scenes.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is so talented, and I love watching him as an actor,\u201d she noted. \u201cOf course, I wish he was here to see it himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dane joined the HBO show as Cal Jacobs, the father of Jacob Elordi<\/strong>\u2018s Nate Jacobs, when the series premiered in 2019. He continued to portray the character in season 2, but questions arose about everyone\u2019s future on the show after subsequent filming delays.<\/p>\n

Before production started on season 3, Dane announced his ALS diagnosis and revealed whether he would be returning to film the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been diagnosed with ALS,\u201d he said in an April 2025 statement. \u201cI am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter. I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to [the] set of Euphoria next week. I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dane also booked roles on Countdown, Kabul<\/em> and an episode of Brilliant Minds<\/em> ahead of his death at age 53 in February.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply saddened by the news of Eric Dane\u2019s passing,\u201d read a statement from HBO at the time. \u201cHe was incredibly talented and HBO was fortunate to have worked with him on three seasons of Euphoria. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Creator Sam Levinson<\/strong> released his own statement, which read, \u201cI\u2019m heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend Eric. Working with him was an honor. Being his friend was a gift. Eric\u2019s family is in our prayers. May his memory be a blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Levinson later spoke about honoring Dane \u2014 and his late costar Angus Cloud<\/strong> \u2014 in the third season of the show. (Cloud died in July 2025 following an accidental overdose. He was 25.)<\/p>\n
