Some of American Idol<\/i><\/span>\u2019s most talented contestants of the season are winning over the hearts of viewers with their musical talents and spiritual perspectives.<\/p>\n

As the countdown continues for finale night on Monday, May 11, contestants Hannah Harper<\/strong> and Keyla Richardson<\/strong> are grateful to have had the opportunity to share their faith with America during the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe both have grown up in church and had the opportunity to share our testimony, and it was nice to be able to have it on this platform,\u201d Hannah, 25, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i> on Monday, April 27, after making the Top 5. \u201cIt was an honor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this season, American Idol<\/i> hosted \u201cSongs of Faith Night,\u201d where contestants could pick uplifting songs centered around themes of spirituality, hope and worship. Hannah chose \u201cAt the Cross\u201d by Hillsong Worship, while Keyla, 29, opted to sing \u201cJireh\u201d by Elevation Worship and Maverick City.<\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up in the church. I know so many songs, so it was kind of hard to pick, but I wanted to pick something everyone could relate to,\u201d Keyla shared with Us<\/i>. \u201cI wanted everyone to worship with me. That\u2019s my heart right there. That\u2019s where I find myself in worship a lot of times. When they said \u2018songs of faith,\u2019 that was right up my alley.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the season, judge Carrie Underwood<\/span><\/strong> has shown glimpses into her faith journey as well.<\/p>\n

As part of \u201cSongs of Faith Night,\u201d the former American Idol<\/i> winner delivered a powerful rendition of the classic hymn \u201cHow Great Thou Art.\u201d<\/p>\n

Underwood, 43, appears to be just one of the many people at American Idol<\/i> who support contestants sharing their faith journey \u2014 if they choose to do so.<\/p>\n

\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI\u2019m glad that we can be open about our faith,\u201d Keyla told Us<\/i>. \u201cI\u2019m glad that everybody is OK with it, and we\u2019re OK with it. \u2026 I love God, and that\u2019s who I love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hannah added, \u201cI think we\u2019ve always done that. There are more eyes watching now.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s episode, Hannah and Keyla impressed Underwood, Lionel Richie<\/strong>, Luke Bryan<\/strong> and guest judge Nikki Glaser<\/strong> during \u201cTaylor Swift<\/strong> Night<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keyla performed a rendition of \u201cLover,\u201d while Hannah chose to sing \u201cMean.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the Monday, April 20, episode of the ABC show, host Ryan Seacrest spoke with contestant Brooks Rosser after he performed Miley Cyrus\u2018 song \u201cThe Climb\u201d from 2009\u2019s Hannah Montana: The Movie. \u201cBrooks, one of the great things about this [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI think I knew [which song I wanted] as soon as I heard that we were going to do a Swifty night,\u201d Hannah revealed. \u201cI think that she does a great job storytelling.\u201d<\/p>\n
