Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> continued his war of words with President Donald Trump<\/strong> on the Tuesday, April 28, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/p>\n

In his opening monologue on Tuesday, Kimmel, 58, played a clip of Trump\u2019s televised news conference earlier in the day welcoming the U.K.\u2019s King Charles III<\/strong> and Queen Camilla<\/strong> on a state visit to the U.S.<\/p>\n

During his speech, Trump, 79, noted that his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod<\/strong>, moved from Scotland to the U.S. at age 19 and, \u201cShe met my father. We loved him so much, we all loved him, we loved her, we loved him: Fred<\/strong>. And they were married for 63 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Turning to wife Melania Trump<\/strong>, the president then quipped, \u201cAnd, uh, excuse me, if you don\u2019t mind, that\u2019s a record we won\u2019t be able to match, darling.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry, it\u2019s just not going to work out that way. We\u2019ll do well, but we\u2019re not going to do that well,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy God, you should be fired for that,\u201d Kimmel quipped on Tuesday night, referring to the Trumps\u2019 calls for him to be fired for a joke he made on his ABC late-night talk show last week.<\/p>\n

Kimmel went on, \u201cOnly Donald Trump would demand I be fired for making a joke about his old age and then a day later make a joke about his own old age.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the Thursday, April 23, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em>, Kimmel hosted a mock White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner two days before the real one took place and joked that Melania, 56, had a \u201cglow like an expectant widow.\u201d<\/p>\n
