\n\tAs Olivia Rodrigo pulls double-duty to make her Saturday Night Live<\/em> hosting debut this weekend, along with her third time musical guest, she\u2019s hyping fans up for the episode with Ashley Padilla.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Thursday, the 3x Grammy winner appeared in a new promo for her episode of the NBC sketch comedy show with the cast member, whom she jokingly choked out in the final take of the teaser.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI couldn\u2019t sleep because I\u2019m afraid of what happens when we die,\u201d said Padilla after yawning, to which Rodrigo assured her, \u201cAw, it\u2019s not so bad. Here, look.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRodrigo then wrapped her hands around Padilla until the comedian was on the floor.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe duo\u2019s comedic banter in the promo also featured references to Rodrigo\u2019s 2021 debut single \u2018Driver\u2019s License\u2019, as well as her albums Sour<\/em> (2021) and Guts<\/em> (2023).<\/p>\n

\n\tRodrigo, who was previously a musical guest on SNL<\/em> in 2021 and \u201923, is currently promoting her third studio album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love<\/em>, which debuts June 12. She released the album\u2019s lead single \u2018Drop Dead\u2019 this month.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing Rodrigo\u2019s SNL<\/em> this weekend, Matt Damon and Will Ferrell are finishing out Season 51 as the final two hosts, accompanied by musical guests Noah Kahan and Paul McCartney, respectively.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
