The Challenge\u2019s<\/em> Johnny Bananas<\/strong> is throwing his support behind Spencer Pratt<\/strong> as The Hills<\/em> alum continues his bid to be elected the mayor of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Taking to social media on Thursday, April 30, the reality star (real name Johnny Devenanzio) gave his stamp of approval to Pratt in the election race.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s my mayor \ud83e\udd18\u201d Devenanzio, 43, wrote via X, sharing Pratt\u2019s latest campaign ad.<\/p>\n

In the controversial ad released on Wednesday, April 29, Pratt, 42, visited the homes of two of his opponents \u2014 L.A. City Councilwoman Nithya Raman<\/strong> and current Mayor Karen Bass.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He then compared their seemingly affluent dwellings to his own, more modest living situation \u2013 a trailer that he shares with his wife Heidi Montag<\/strong> and their two children. The family have been living in the trailer since their home burned down in the 2025 Palisades Fire.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is where Mayor Bass lives. Notice something? Or here, where Nithya Raman\u2019s $3 million mansion sits,\u201d Pratt said in the ad. \u201cThey don\u2019t have to live in the mess they\u2019ve created.\u201d<\/p>\n

The commercial showed Pratt standing outside his trailer while promising to bring back the \u201cgolden age of Los Angeles.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is where I live. They let my home burn down,\u201d he said. \u201cI know what the consequences of failed leadership are. That\u2019s why I\u2019m running for mayor, for my sons and the rest of us Angelenos who want to stop these corrupt politicians from destroying our city. We are going to get the golden age of Los Angeles back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pratt announced his political candidacy in January, one year after the Palisades fires that devastated California.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe system in Los Angeles isn\u2019t struggling, it\u2019s fundamentally broken,\u201d Pratt said at the \u201cThey Let Us Burn\u201d public demonstration on January 7. \u201cIt is a machine designed to protect the people at the top and the friends they exchange favors with while the rest of us drown in toxic smoke and ash. Business as usual is a death sentence for Los Angeles, and I\u2019m done waiting for someone to take real action.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pratt continued, \u201cThat\u2019s why I am running for mayor. And let me be clear, this just isn\u2019t a campaign, this is a mission, and we\u2019re gonna expose the system.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnny Bananas isn\u2019t the only famous face to endorse Pratt during his bid to become mayor.<\/p>\n

He has also received support from Joe Rogan<\/strong>, The Hills<\/em> costar Kristin Cavallari<\/strong>, podcaster Nick Viall<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n
