Pete Davidson<\/strong> and Elise Hewitt<\/strong> are \u201cfiguring out what they want\u201d in their relationship months after welcoming daughter Scottie.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are working things out,\u201d a source with knowledge of the couple tells Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively. \u201cThey are on their own timeframe and it\u2019s up to them to make a decision about their future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider adds that both Davidson, 32, and Hewitt, 30, are \u201creally dedicated to doing what\u2019s right for the baby.\u201d They are also \u201crooting\u201d for each other \u201cto be successful,\u201d the source says, despite what they are going through personally.<\/p>\n

Hewitt, for one, is \u201cin a good place\u201d professionally as she gets the hang of motherhood. The actress has \u201ca lot of good new opportunities in front of her,\u201d as does Davidson, the source explains. (Hewitt has several upcoming projects in the works, including movies Triton<\/em> and We\u2019re Already There.<\/em>)<\/p>\n

Their daughter, Scottie \u2014 named after Davidson\u2019s late father, a firefighter who died in the 9\/11 attacks in 2001 \u2014 was born in December 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are figuring out their relationship,\u201d the same source tells Us<\/em> about where Davidson and Hewitt stand amid their whirlwind romance. \u201cThey want to make sure that the baby has what is best for her and her future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hewitt has been offering fans an inside look into daughter Scottie\u2019s first year via Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy scottie girl is 12 weeks old today,\u201d Hewitt captioned an Instagram post in March. \u201cOn the way to the hospital we wrote down our predictions for what time she\u2019d be born. My guess was 3:05pm (my birthday, 03\/05). After 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived. How crazy and cool is that?\u201d<\/p>\n
