Just because Paulina Ch\u00e1vez<\/strong> is in the dark about season 3 of Landman<\/em> doesn\u2019t mean she can\u2019t speculate wildly with Us about possible story lines.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t know anything,\u201d Ch\u00e1vez, 23, who plays Ariana, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> while celebrating the National Pork Board\u2019s new Explora Todo El Gusto Del Pork campaign. \u201cObviously, I do assume that we\u2019re gonna really get into more of the nitty-gritty of these character dynamics.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ch\u00e1vez has hopes for where her character will fit in now that Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton<\/strong>) is striking out on his own, adding, \u201cObviously, we have never seen how Ariana fits into the Norris family, and she\u2019s never really interacted with [Ali Larter<\/strong>\u2018s] Angela. So I\u2019m excited to see that.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Ch\u00e1vez is \u201ceagerly waiting\u201d for scripts for the hit Paramount+ series, she indulged Us<\/em> by weighing in on all the possibilities when it comes to Ariana. Fresh off an engagement to Cooper (Jacob Lofland<\/strong>), Ch\u00e1vez could see them hitting another major milestone.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Sheridan\u2018s hit series Landman was renewed for season 3 \u2014 but which stars are and aren\u2019t returning after that shocking firing? Inspired by the \u201cBoomtown\u201d podcast series, Landman is focused on the West Texas oil industry with a specific focus on crisis executive Tommy Norris and his family. The Paramount+ show, which premiered in [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cA small wedding [must be] coming. But I also feel like this is a great opportunity for Ariana to maybe do something that her family has never done before, which is maybe go to college or maybe take some night classes,\u201d the actress noted. \u201cEspecially if she is going to take more time with the baby and figure out the relationship with Cooper further.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ch\u00e1vez continued: \u201cBut she is also helping him with his goals and in the family business. I think that Ariana is going to want to do something for herself and to really help. Honestly, I see her being mentored by Rebecca, and maybe she\u2019s following in the footsteps of making sure that they are protected legally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ch\u00e1vez noted that Ariana would want a \u201csmall\u201d wedding \u2014 but her future mother-in-law would not.<\/p>\n

\u201cCooper and Ariana, they can hold off on it a little bit, but we\u2019ll see. Maybe we will be in preparation for the wedding, but you won\u2019t see it until it happens,\u201d she noted. \u201cMexican weddings tend to be over the top. Angela is like a Latina mom by heart because she\u2019s just so loud and free and open. She would want to go very extravagant with the wedding. \u2026 Maybe they\u2019ll just go to the courthouse.\u201d<\/p>\n

The idea of bringing their families together sounded appealing to Ch\u00e1vez, who added, \u201cI would love for Cooper to also see the dynamic between Ariana\u2019s parents and her. I also would love to see both families meeting and see how that\u2019s going to unravel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite planning a future together, there is one relationship milestone Ch\u00e1vez isn\u2019t in a rush to explore. Ch\u00e1vez, whose character already shares a baby with her late ex-husband, expressed hope that Ariana and Cooper wouldn\u2019t rush into expanding their family.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes when you move super fast, sometimes there\u2019s no need to [move as fast in other areas of the relationship]. There\u2019s so much for them to still fortify and still work on their relationship and on themselves too,\u201d she explained. \u201cEither way, it\u2019ll be a ride.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ch\u00e1vez also weighed in on Us<\/em>\u2018 theory that creator Taylor Sheridan<\/strong> could bridge the worlds between some of his currently airing shows. From Yellowstone<\/em> spinoffs Dutton Ranch<\/em> and Marshals<\/em> to The Madison<\/em>, there are plenty of options when it comes to shows that could intersect with Landman<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cDefinitely Dutton Ranch. That would be super, super cool to see \u2014 as a person who watched Yellowstone,\u201d Ch\u00e1vez told Us<\/em>. \u201cThat would be very interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Ch\u00e1vez returns to film the third season of Landman<\/em>, she is serving as the face of Explora Todo El Gusto Del Pork, which is a new lifestyle food brand from the National Pork Board.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis comes at a time where it\u2019s such a fun way to show people our culture and in the way we love through food. Pork is something that is a big staple in our dishes that we make, and I feel like this is just going to pay homage to all the Latinas that have come before us and our grandmas,\u201d she shared with Us<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m excited to share some of my grandma\u2019s recipes and show the younger generation how to keep that culture going.\u201d<\/p>\n
