\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>Liongate\u2019s Michael <\/em>is crossing $300M today around the globe which will unseat Warner Bros\u2019 8x Oscar nominated Elvis <\/em>($288.6M) as the No. 2 musical biopic ever, just behind Bohemian Rhapsody <\/em>($911M), which was also produced by Michael <\/em>producer Graham King. <\/p>\n \n\tAfter opening to $218.8M around the globe off of Universal\u2019s foreign release of the pic, the Antoine Fuqua directed movie went on to collect another $47.5M between Monday and Thursday abroad in 82 territories, taking its international running cume to $169.3M. <\/p>\n \n\tMichael<\/em>\u2018s domestic week ended at $129.8M, and added all up, global stands at $299M as of yesterday. It\u2019s expected that Michael <\/em>will have a second weekend of $45M, -54%, with a running domestic take of\u00a0$174.8M by EOD Sunday. <\/p>\n \n\tAbroad, the Jaafar Jackson, Nia Long, Colman Domingo and Miles Teller starring movie saw a $12.8M Thursday, -8% from last week\u2019s opening Thursday. This is a particularly exceptional hold as the film competes with sunny weather across Europe, and the opening of\u00a0Devil Wears Prada 2.<\/em><\/p>\n \n\tTerritory updates:<\/p>\n \n\t\u2013The\u00a0UK & Ireland\u00a0has reached $21.8M cume to-date.<\/p>\n \n\t\u2013France\u00a0grossed an excellent $1.3M on Thursday,\u00a0reclaiming the\u00a0No.1\u00a0spot in admissions for the day, above the second day of\u00a0Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em>. It has reached $14.2M cume to-date.<\/p>\n \n\t\u2013Mexico\u00a0<\/strong>has now reached $12.9M.<\/p>\n \n\t\u2013Italy\u00a0had an exceptional Thursday, grossing $900K, rising +7% from last week and raising its cume to $11.1M cume to-date.<\/p>\n \n\t\u2013Brazil\u00a0has reached a cume to-date of $10.3M.<\/p>\n \n\t\u2013Germany\u00a0saw an excellent +25% uplift on Thursday with $900K.\u00a0 The cume has now reached $9.5M.<\/p>\n \n\t\u2013Spain\u00a0had a fantastic Thursday, rising +34% from last week, with $700K for the day to reach $9M cume to-date.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe\u00a0Middle East\u00a0region grossed $1M on Thursday with incredible uplift from last week\u2019s opening (+36%).
