Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson<\/b> can conquer the baseball diamond \u2014 and handle meeting girlfriend Maggie Sajak<\/b>\u2019s famous father.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have [met Pat Sajak<\/b>], he\u2019s a great guy,\u201d Olson, 28, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>on Friday, May 1, when asked about meeting the retired Wheel of Fortune <\/i>host, 79, while promoting his new BZZR platform. \u201cEverybody\u2019s nervous to meet the father of the person they\u2019re dating, or mother or both.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI\u2019m a very weird person, I\u2019m a very out there person. I\u2019m not going to hold back who I am as a person, and people seem to enjoy that company. I\u2019m happy that I\u2019m able to be myself truly in every aspect now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maggie, 31, confirmed via Instagram late last month that she sparked a romance<\/span> with Olson.<\/p>\n

The daughter of Wheel of Fortune\u2019s Pat Sajak took to Instagram in April 2026 to debut her relationship with Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson. Ahead of her romance with Olson, Maggie was linked to Scottish actor Ross McCall. Maggie, for her [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really cool because we\u2019re obviously living very different lives right now on the opposite side of the country, but we\u2019re able to come together and just have an awesome relationship,\u201d Olson gushed on Friday. \u201cI feel like in any relationship, you\u2019re trying to figure out how to see each other as frequently as possible, which is never something that I thought in my past I was going to want to do \u2026 but now I really do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite living across the country, Olson and Maggie have remained committed to their blossoming romance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just about planning and making sure you\u2019re setting aside time to see each other and make really cool experiences happen because a start of a relationship never happens again,\u201d he said. \u201cYou only get one chance at a start of a relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amid their whirlwind relationship, Maggie has made it out to Bananas games to support her new beau.<\/p>\n

\u201cI start sweating and I\u2019m like, \u2018I can\u2019t strike out because then I have to hit a home run.\u2019 Even though I do strike out a decent amount,\u201d Olson told Us <\/i>of his pregame nerves knowing Maggie is in the stands. \u201cI\u2019ve gotten that out of the way of, like, the nerves there. Every person that I care about in my life has seen me play with the Bananas now, so it\u2019s smooth sailing. If I play poorly, whatever, it\u2019s life. We\u2019re not playing for a World Series here.\u201d<\/p>\n

All in all, Olson is hopeful to make Maggie proud of her boyfriend\u2019s athletic (and musical) career with the Bananas.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to make people proud of me in anything that I\u2019m doing, I want to make people proud,\u201d he explained to Us. <\/i>\u201cObviously, I want to make my parents proud \u2026 [and] now I want to make Maggie proud, I want to make my teammates proud.\u201d<\/p>\n
