Father of 12 Nick Cannon<\/strong> is opening up about the \u201cdouble standard\u201d he has for his 15-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe when it comes to dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son [Moroccan] has been dating, and I\u2019ve allowed it, I encouraged it,\u201d the America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> and The Masked Singer<\/em> host, 45, said while appearing on the Saturday, May 2, episode of \u201cThe TMZ Podcast.\u201d<\/p>\n

When the podcast host told the comedian they hope \u201cyou\u2019ve been allowing it and encouraging that\u201d for his daughter Monroe, too, Cannon abruptly responded, \u201cNo, absolutely not.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, it\u2019s absolutely a double standard,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd I know I get in trouble a lot \u2018cause I say things with my chest. But there is a difference when parenting a son and then when parenting a daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n

They have fun and they\u2019re the oldest. But who knows where that will go when 16 hits,\u201d Cannon, 42, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The comedian and actor added, \u201cI am more protective of my daughter because there [are] things out there that I have to protect my daughter from. Like, as we know, there are a certain type of individuals that you want to keep your daughter away from.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cannon shares Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey<\/strong>. He and Scott are also parents to son Zen, who died in December 2021 of a brain tumor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf somebody puts their hands on my daughter, I\u2019m going to jail,\u201d Cannon continued on Saturday. \u201cIf some man puts his hands on my daughter, it\u2019s my worst nightmare because I am going to jail forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
