Andrew Walker<\/strong> is all for more Curious Caterer Mysteries<\/em> \u2014 but has Hallmark greenlit the next installment?<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish there were updates on the Curious Caterer<\/em>,\u201d Walker, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in April while promoting his latest Hallmark rom-com Kentucky Roses<\/em>, which premiered on Saturday, May 2.<\/p>\n

The actor told Us<\/em> that fans of the mystery franchise need to \u201cmessage Hallmark and go to the chat groups and tell them how much you\u2019re missing Curious Caterer<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Walker then teased that he and costar Nikki DeLoach<\/strong> are just waiting for the network to sign off on shooting the next chapter in Detective Tom Shultz and caterer-turned-ameatur-sleuth Goldy Berry\u2019s story.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been told that we might get some more episodes back. So we\u2019re ready to go,\u201d Walker said, revealing that the \u201cscripts are written.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also confirmed that he\u2019s \u201chere\u201d with \u201cnothing planned on my schedule,\u201d so he would happily start shooting whenever the team is ready.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWitchy woman! Andrew Walker gushed over his Curious Caterer costar Nikki DeLoach for manifesting their Hallmark Movies & Mysteries franchise. DeLoach, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, February 1, that she had a \u201cvision\u201d for her and Walker, also 43, to collaborate on a Hallmark mystery film series. \u201cI think I said [to] you, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Curious Caterer Mysteries<\/em> franchise premiered in 2022 with Dying for Chocolate<\/em>. The movie series \u2014 which is now up to five total films \u2014 centers around caterer Goldy (DeLoach) as she stumbles upon murder cases and has to team up with local detective Tom (Walker) to solve them.<\/p>\n

During the 2024 film, Foiled Plans<\/em>, Tom and Goldy shared their first kiss and they have since become a couple \u2014 but fans haven\u2019t gotten to see much of their love story just yet.<\/p>\n

Walker told Us<\/em> that while he \u201ccan\u2019t really tease much\u201d about what\u2019s to come, he assured fans that they will \u201cobviously dive into more of what Goldy and Tom\u2019s relationship looks like\u201d in the next movie.<\/p>\n

He also shared that if the next film gets greenlit viewers will get more information on the \u201cperipheral characters,\u201d including Goldy\u2019s assistant and best friend, Marla Maguire (Jaycie Dotin<\/strong>), and Tom\u2019s right hand deputy Mason (Riley Davis<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\u201cIt really is now about what are the individual characters around [Goldy and Tom] and their peripheral doing? And where do they come from, and what are their hobbies and fun things they like to do?\u201d Walker explained. \u201cBecause they\u2019re so developed, those characters, even though they\u2019re not in it as much as Tom and Goldy are. But I think there\u2019s just a lot of fun opportunities there.\u201d<\/p>\n

As fans wait to see what\u2019s next for Curious Caterer<\/em>\u2019s Tom and Goldy, they can catch Walker in his latest rom-com, Kentucky Roses<\/em>. The movie, which centers around the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs, premiered on Saturday and is now streaming on Hallmark+.<\/p>\n

\u201cI play Ash Taylor. And Ash is a guy that goes after what he wants,\u201d Walker told Us<\/em> about his character. \u201cHe swore he\u2019d never come back and work for his dad. He moved away to Cincinnati and he\u2019s kind of living his dream, and his dad calls him back because he needs a favor.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor explained that when a spire at Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby horse races, gets damaged two weeks before the big race, Ash is called in to fix it.<\/p>\n
