The Pitt <\/i>star Isa Briones <\/b>is calling out \u201cdisrespectful\u201d fans attending her Broadway performances.<\/p>\n
\u201cHey hey hey! Once again, Broadway is not a circus,\u201d Briones, 27, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 2. \u201cDo not yell whatever you want at the performers. Yelling \u2018When are you going to finish your charts\u2019 before I sing \u2018 Who\u2019s Sorry Now\u2019 is so f***ing disrespectful to your performers onstage and your fellow audience members.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cY\u2019all are pissin\u2019 me off. Love and light and please remember you are occupying shared spaces and watching art.\u201d<\/p>\n
Briones currently stars as Connie Francis<\/b> in the Broadway production of Just in Time<\/i>, the musical about legendary singer Bobby Darin. <\/b>(Gracie Lawrence <\/b>originated the role and was later replaced by Sarah Hyland <\/b>before Briones took over.)<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s so fun. I\u2019m really having the time of my life,\u201d Briones, who previously made her Broadway debut in Hadestown <\/i>in 2024, told Rolling Stone<\/i><\/span> <\/i>last month. \u201cTheater makes me so happy, and I love getting to take a break from TV and from The Pitt<\/i> to do something that feels so different and so joyous.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cI love theater people. It\u2019s just my favorite place to be. I was raised around theater people my whole life and it\u2019s the best, best community in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
On The Pitt<\/i>, Briones plays medical resident Trinity Santos. Throughout season 2, she balanced treating patients with struggling to find time to complete her medical charts that threatened to hold her back from her studies. With Just in Time<\/i>, Briones portrays the \u201cPretty Little Baby\u201d singer.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cI can\u2019t spoil the show for people who haven\u2019t seen it, since it\u2019s [based on] real life. [Connie\u2019s] in a very brief portion of the show, but you see years of growth,\u201d she told Rolling Stone. <\/i>\u201cFrom her being a young kid trying to make music to being the superstar of the time, that all happens within 20 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Briones, she \u201clatched onto\u201d the show\u2019s \u201csuddenness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Briones further acknowledged how Just In Time <\/i>viewers watch her character perform \u201cthrough the sadness\u201d during \u201cWho\u2019s Sorry Now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHer father shot a gun in the dressing room right before she was going to perform. It\u2019s this really traumatic moment and then she has to put on a smile and perform,\u201d the actress explained. \u201cThat\u2019s something I can connect to right now in this weird time. I have amazing success I\u2019d never even dreamt of. And also, I\u2019m going through my own stuff, but I\u2019m gonna perform through the sadness.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
