\n\tFormer New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in a Florida hospital in \u201ccritical but stable condition,\u201d per reporting from The<\/em> New York Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tIt\u2019s unclear what ailment led Giuliani to the hospital, nor when he was transported. <\/p>\n \n\tHis spokesman, Ted Goodman, said in an online statement: \u201cMayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition. Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he\u2019s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak. We do ask that you join us in prayer for America\u2019s Mayor Rudy Giuliani.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tLast year, The Masked Singer<\/em> contestant was involved in a car accident, for which he was also hospitalized. Though he sustained serious injuries in the New Hampshire crash, his security spokesperson noted at the time he was \u201cin good spirits and recovering tremendously.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe accident occurred while Giuliani\u2019s vehicle was struck from the back at high speed while traveling on the highway. \u201cHe was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n \n\tLast September, during a 9\/11 memorial tribute, Giuliani was seen in a wheelchair.<\/p>\n \n\tThe former advisor and personal lawyer to president\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0has kept a relatively low profile over the years, facing both legal and financial issues. In 2024, he was\u00a0disbarred in New York\u00a0following a state appeals court ruling that he repeatedly made false statements about Trump\u2019s\u00a02020 election\u00a0loss.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a Truth Social post, Trump took the opportunity to further spread debunked stolen election claims, \u201cOur fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized, and is in critical condition.
