Kim Kardashian<\/strong> is ready to pull out all the stops for her 13th Met Gala appearance.<\/p>\n

The Kardashians<\/em> star, 45, teased her look for the Monday, May 4, fashion event via social media as fans speculated how she will manage to top her previous looks, including that Marilyn Monroe<\/strong> dress.<\/p>\n

In a Sunday, May 3, Instagram post, Kardashian shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos of herself getting ready for previous Met Galas, captioning the post, \u201cYear 13 loading\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Over on X, the All\u2019s Fair<\/em> actress engaged with fans wondering about her look.<\/p>\n

Kardashian first attended the Met Gala with then-husband Kanye West<\/strong> in 2013. The reality star, who was pregnant with daughter North at the time, stunned in a floor-length floral gown designed by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy.<\/p>\n

Then, there was her full-body black ensemble designed by Balenciaga at the 2021 Met Gala, for which she even covered her face.<\/p>\n

The following year, Kardashian courted controversy when she wore a piece of pop culture history: the nude-colored Jean Louis gown that Monroe wore when she famously performed \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d for President John F. Kennedy<\/strong> in 1962.<\/p>\n

Ripley\u2019s Believe It or Not!, which acquired the dress for $4.8 million in 2016, loaned it to Kardashian.<\/p>\n

\u201cNowadays everyone wears sheer dresses, but back then that was not the case,\u201d she told Vogue<\/em> at the time. \u201cIn a sense, it\u2019s the original naked dress. That\u2019s why it was so shocking.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kardashian, 45, opened up about wearing Monroe\u2019s Bob Mackie and Jean Louis dress, which fans criticized her for damaging, while taking a lie detector test via Vanity Fair\u2019s YouTube channel on [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kardashian opened up about her strict diet to fit into the dress, telling Vogue<\/em>, \u201cIt was this or nothing. \u2026 I would wear a sauna suit twice a day, run on the treadmill, completely cut out all sugar and all carbs, and just eat the cleanest veggies and protein. I didn\u2019t starve myself, but I was so strict.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a June 2021 interview on the Today<\/em> show, Kardashian said she lost 21 pounds in total.<\/p>\n
