Fans of Whitney Leavitt<\/strong> can rejoice \u2014 the reality TV star will appear in the upcoming The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> season 5 before her official exit from the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re going to want to sit down for this video. I am leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>. Take a minute. Take it in,\u201d Leavitt, 32, said in a Tuesday, May 5, Instagram video. \u201cI feel like I had to start my video that way. I\u2019ve seen a lot of conversation on my announcement so I just wanted to come on here and share my thoughts.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cJust to be very clear, I am finishing season 5. So yes, I will be in that season. But also yes, it will be my last. It\u2019s honestly so crazy to me looking back on this journey because I had been trying to get into theater and film way before Secret Lives even came into my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leavitt explained that Mormon Wives<\/em> \u201cfell into my life organically and I said yes to it,\u201d noting that the path might not have been what she \u201cenvisioned in my mind to get to where I am today.\u201d Despite the fact that she didn\u2019t have starring on a reality TV show on her vision board, she told her fans she \u201cwouldn\u2019t change a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Hulu\u2019s hit reality TV series\u2019 2024 inaugural season, Leavitt flirted with the idea of quitting the show when she decided to leave MomTok, the Mormon Wives stars\u2019 content creation group. \u201cI have experienced so much with this group of women and in that process, I\u2019ve also learned so much about myself,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe have been through so much together, even more than what you\u2019ve seen. We\u2019ve had really big highs, really big lows and no matter what happens with our relationships, that is something that will always be a part of our life, will always be a part of my life and I wouldn\u2019t change a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Leavitt, the times that she has \u201cwalked away from MomTok\u201d came from a \u201cplace of anger and frustration.\u201d This time, however, Leavitt explained that her exit is \u201csignificantly different\u201d because she\u2019s \u201cleaving with gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel content,\u201d Leavitt said. \u201cI feel like this is a chapter that\u2019s closing in my life and honestly, I believe that\u2019s how it was always meant to be. I\u2019m so grateful for The<\/em> Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>. It\u2019s got me where I am today. It\u2019s given me the opportunities that you all have seen but I\u2019m ready. I\u2019m ready for the next chapter and I cannot wait to share with you guys what\u2019s next.\u201d<\/p>\n
