Influencer Jake Paul<\/strong> has experienced a slew of high highs and various lows since rising to online fame.<\/p>\n

Jake and brother Logan Paul<\/strong> first gained fame on the now-defunct Vine app before transitioning to YouTube. In recent years, Jake has shifted from online influencer to professional boxer, competing against some of the greatest in the sport, including Mike Tyson.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2022, Jake met Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam<\/strong> via Instagram. The pair went public with their relationship in 2023 and announced their engagement two years later.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never, ever expected to date him, like never,\u201d Leerdam said in the 2024 documentary Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson<\/em>. \u201cOf course, I didn\u2019t know a lot about him. I could only scroll on his Instagram and form an opinion like the whole world does. But he is the complete opposite.\u201d<\/p>\n

November 2024<\/h2>\n

Jake beat Tyson in November 2024 at AT&T Stadium in a controversial fight streamed on Netflix.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s such an honor. He\u2019s a legend,\u201d Jake, who is 31 years younger than his opponent, said after his win. Tyson took the loss in stride, writing on X: \u201cThis is one of those situations when you lost but still won.\u201d<\/p>\n

March 2025<\/h2>\n

Jake and Leerdam announced their engagement in 2025. \u201cWe\u2019re engaged\ud83d\udc8d\ud83d\udd4a\ufe0f\ud83e\udd0dwe can\u2019t wait to spend forever together\ud83e\udd79,\u201d the pair wrote in a joint Instagram post at the time.<\/p>\n

One year later, Jake supported Leerdam at the 2026 Winter Olympics when she set an Olympic record in the women\u2019s 1,000 meter event with a time of 1:12.31. Cameras caught Jake sobbing as he celebrated her win for the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

\u201cJuttttttttttaaaaaaaa. I can\u2019t stop crying,\u201d he wrote after the win. \u201cYou did it my love. Olympic Gold. God is great and so are you.\u201d<\/p>\n

February 2026<\/h2>\n

After Logan pushed back on his brother\u2019s criticism of Bad Bunny<\/strong> ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, Jake clarified his remarks.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo clarify: I wasn\u2019t calling anyone a \u2018fake citizen\u2019 because they\u2019re from Puerto Rico. I live in Puerto Rico, and I love Puerto Rico,\u201d he wrote, sharing that his issue was with Bad Bunny\u2019s criticism of President Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2018s immigration policies and ICE.<\/p>\n

Jake then changed his X bio to \u201cBenito #1 fan\u201d \u2014 a reference to Bad Bunny\u2019s full name \u2014 and posted, \u201cGuys i love bad bunny idk what happened on my twitter last night ?? wtf.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that month, Jake announced via Instagram that he needed a second surgery on the jaw he broke during his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua<\/strong> the year prior.<\/p>\n
