Darrell Sheets<\/strong>\u2019 cellphone will be analyzed by police after the Storage Wars<\/em> star made allegations he was cyberbullied in the time leading up to his death<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lake Havasu City Police Department has received confirmation from the Mohave County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office that the manner of death in the investigation involving Darrell Sheets has been ruled a suicide, pending the completion of toxicology results,\u201d the Lake Havasu City police department said in a statement to Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, May 5. \u201cOur agency continues to actively investigate allegations of cyberbullying associated with this case.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cThe Criminal Investigations Unit has submitted Darrell Sheets\u2019 cellular phone for forensic analysis and is currently awaiting the results. This investigative step is essential to advancing the case.\u201d<\/p>\n

The police noted that \u201cadditional information will be released as it becomes available.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPolice in Arizona are investigating claims that Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets was bullied online before his death by apparent suicide. According to a statement obtained by Us Weekly,\u00a0the Lake Havasu City Police Department is \u201caware of the cyberbullying accusations involved in this incident and these claims are a part of the active investigation.\u201d Lake [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sheets, who was best known as \u201cThe Gambler\u201d on Storage Wars<\/em> from 2010 to 2023, died last month in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, at age 67.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are saddened by the passing of a beloved member of our Storage Wars<\/em> family, Darrell \u2018The Gambler\u2019 Sheets,\u201d a spokesperson for A&E told Us<\/em> at the time. \u201cOur thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier on Monday, Us<\/em> confirmed that Sheets\u2019 official cause of death has been ruled suicide. The full autopsy report has yet to be released.<\/p>\n

Shortly after news broke of Sheets\u2019 death, his Storage Wars<\/em> costar and onscreen rival Rene Nezhoda<\/strong> claimed that Sheets was a victim of cyberbullying.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust cause you watch us on television doesn\u2019t mean you know us \u2026 it doesn\u2019t mean you know what we\u2019re about. Also it doesn\u2019t entitle you to bully somebody,\u201d he claimed to TMZ. \u201cYou shouldn\u2019t cyberbully at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nezhoda, 49, later told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively that Sheets \u201cwithdrew from social media\u201d in the final weeks of his life due to the alleged harassment.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was impersonating him with phone calls, messages, emails, websites \u2026 He flat out said, \u2018I\u2019m gonna ruin you.\u2019 I mean, all you have to do is go to Darrell\u2019s last few messages on Facebook,\u201d he claimed. \u201cHe even said, I think on March 9, \u2018Hey guys, I\u2019m happy. Everything is great \u2014 if anything happens to me, look at these people. These are the people.\u2019 And then he posted a bunch of messages [about it]. And a month later we find him dead.\u201d<\/p>\n
