Set within the Hijaz mountains at The Red Sea destination, just 20 minutes from Red Sea International Airport, and recognised with two Michelin Keys in its first year, the resort offers one of the most striking settings in the region for the celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Running from 22nd to 30th May, from 6:30pm to 1:00am, the Once in a Blue Moon package is priced at SAR 980 per person, including VAT, weaving together the resort\u2019s signature culinary destination, NYRA, a guided stargazing experience at The Astronomy Centre, and rooftop music and 0.0% abv mixology at MICA.<\/p>\n<p>An Elevated Evening <br \/>As dusk settles over the Hijaz, NYRA awakens with a welcome drink and a five-course menu by Michelin-starred Chef Osman Sezener, rooted in live fire, dry ageing and the soulful traditions of Aegean cuisine. The kitchen draws on wood-fired techniques and carefully sourced ingredients from land and sea, and the dining room is designed to make the cooking itself part of the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>As the mountains fall into silver light, guests move to The Astronomy Centre on the MICA rooftop for a guided stargazing session led by the experts at Akun. With a state-of-the-art telescope, minimal light pollution and high-altitude clarity, guests can observe the night sky and the rare lunar cycle in full brilliance.<\/p>\n<p>The final chapter unfolds at MICA with a high-energy set by DJ Leo, paired with 0.0% ABV mocktails crafted by celebrity mixologist Matthias Giroud and shisha service. Inspired by smoke, fire and native Saudi ingredients, MICA reflects the natural essence of the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Families booking the package also receive complimentary Kids\u2019 Club access, where a kids\u2019 disco keeps younger guests entertained throughout the night.<\/p>\n<p>A Stay Worth Extending<br \/>Beyond the evening experience, Desert Rock offers a full programme of outdoor adventures, cultural encounters and culinary moments.
