Ruscio\/Getty Images<\/cite><\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n \n\tFurther multiple prizewinners of the night included Italian opera director Damiano Michieletto\u2019s first feature debut, the Venice-set Antonio Vivaldi-inspired tale Primavera<\/em>; Silvio Soldini\u2019s World War II drama The Tasters<\/em>, about a group of young women forced to work as food tasters for Adolf Hitler who lived in fear of being poisoned; and martial arts action-thriller Forbidden City<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tPaul Thomas Anderson\u2019s Oscar-winning picture One Battle After Another<\/em> won the Best International Film Prize, beating contenders I\u2019m Still Here<\/em>, The Voice of Hind Rajab<\/em>, The Brutalist <\/em>and It Was Just an Accident<\/em>, but the director did not make it to Italy to pick up the prize.<\/p>\n \n\tRELATED: Best International Feature Film Oscar Winners Through The Years: Photo Gallery<\/strong><\/p>\n \n\tIn honorary prizes, Oscar-winning cinematographer Vittorio Storaro was feted with the Special Prize Cinecitt\u00e0 91 for his career including Francis Ford Coppola\u2019s Apocalypse now<\/em>, Bernardo Bertolucci\u2019s The Last Emperor <\/em>and Warren Beatty\u2019s Reds<\/em> as well as films with Dario Argento, Woody Allen, Carlos Saura, Richard Donner, Alfonso Arau, Paul Schrader and many others.<\/p>\n \n\tDirector Gianni Amelio was celebrated with an honorary career prize, while the Special David Prize went to animator and director Bruno Bozzetto.
