Shannon Elizabeth<\/b> is rewriting the script on her own terms and away from the Hollywood soundstage.<\/p>\n

The American Pie<\/i> star is settling into what she calls one of her \u201cbest chapters,\u201d splitting her time between her wildlife conservation work in South Africa, a fast-growing charity and a buzz-worthy new OnlyFans venture that has already shattered her expectations.<\/p>\n

After quietly separating from husband Simon Borchert<\/b> in fall 2025 after four years of marriage, Elizabeth is leaning into a life that looks very different from the one that made her famous.<\/p>\n

\u201cI envision being very busy. I envision this being, like, one of my best chapters,\u201d Elizabeth told Us Weekly<\/i><\/span> in May 2026. \u201cI want to be busy with projects. I want to be busy with my charity. I want everything to just grow and be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Mission Rooted in South Africa<\/b><\/h2>\n

Elizabeth plans to remain based in South Africa \u201cfor the most part,\u201d she told Us<\/i> in May 2026, though she also travels to the United States, Canada and Europe several times a year for work.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dog\u2019s here, so it\u2019s easier to travel [internationally] with your dog,\u201d she said. \u201cBut, I come over to the U.S. three or four times a year. I\u2019m always in the U.S. or Canada or Europe, just depending on where the work is.\u201d<\/p>\n

The main focus of her life abroad is her Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, which she founded in 2018 to protect endangered species, preserve critical habitats and support rangers on the frontlines.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I started my charity in the U.S., it was called Animal Avengers. It was a dog and cat rescue that I founded in 2001,\u201d she told Us. <\/i>\u201cThis charity is just the next evolution of that. It\u2019s the same nonprofit number. We just changed our mission.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although she worked on the foundation with now-ex Borchert, Elizabeth will continue working even after the divorce is settled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI [will] go forward and I mean, things are moving faster than ever,\u201d she said, noting that most of the operations will resume as usual. \u201cNow, actually, it\u2019s like all of a sudden, things are actually happening and rolling, and it\u2019s exciting to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

A New Platform, A New Direction<\/b><\/h2>\n

Elizabeth announced in April 2026 that she joined OnlyFans as a way to take back control of her own narrative after spending decades in an industry where \u201cother people controlled the outcome\u201d of her career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free,\u201d she told People<\/i><\/span>. \u201cI really do think this is the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elizabeth reportedly earned $1 million within a week of launching her adult content profile.<\/p>\n

\u201c[My manager told me], \u2018You\u2019ve now made more money in the span of a week or two than you did on American Pie, Scary Movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back<\/i> and Love Actually<\/i> combined,\u201d she exclusively told Us<\/i><\/span> <\/i>in May 2026. \u201cNow, I can actually share even more of what I\u2019m doing out in the field, more of what I\u2019m doing with my charity, more behind the scenes on set when I\u2019m working.<\/p>\n

Elizabeth also hasn\u2019t ruled out a potential OnlyFans collaboration with friend and Love Actually <\/i>costar Denise Richards<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI reached out to Denise, actually,\u201d Elizabeth told Us<\/i>. \u201cDenise has been really helpful. She\u2019s talked me through the whole thing. I\u2019m sure sometime in the future, maybe we\u2019ll do a collaboration together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moving On From Acting<\/b><\/h2>\n

Elizabeth, who rose to fame in the 2000 teen comedy American Pie<\/i> before going on to appear in Scary Movie<\/i>, Love Actually<\/i>, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back<\/i> and That \u201970s Show<\/i>, confirmed in March 2026 she wasn\u2019t asked to reprise her role as Buffy Gilmore in the upcoming Wayans family\u2019s Scary Movie<\/i> revival.<\/p>\n

Producer Marlon Wayans<\/b>, however, told The Shade Room<\/i> a future return isn\u2019t completely off the table.<\/p>\n

Elizabeth also took up poker as a side career, competing at the World Series of Poker on multiple occasions, and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother <\/i>in 2018<\/span>.<\/p>\n
