Erin Cahill<\/strong> is pulling back the veil and revealing what she\u2019d change about her own wedding day after hosting Hallmark\u2019s new Mom\u2019s the Bride<\/em> series.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, my gosh, I loved my wedding so much. It was so perfect,\u201d Cahill, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, May 5, while promoting the upcoming Hallmark+ show premiering on Thursday, May 7.<\/p>\n

After giving the question some thought, Cahill did admit that there was one aspect of her \u201cperfect\u201d day she would change if given the chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish I had a videographer,\u201d she confessed to Us<\/em>. \u201cBecause these families are gonna have so much documentation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress noted that with every episode of Mom\u2019s the Bride<\/em> \u2014 a docuseries where daughters plan their mother\u2019s nuptials \u2014 there were three to five cameras, which gave Cahill a little bit of wedding envy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have so much stuff [on film] and their own videographers and stuff,\u201d she said. \u201cSo that is one thing that I\u2019m like, \u2018oh, [I should\u2019ve done that].\u201d<\/p>\n

The Hallmark star explained that when she married Paul Freeman<\/strong> in 2016, the couple had a few friends use their phones to capture their romantic moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cMine was so tiny, it was 20 friends and 15 family,\u201d she said of her wedding day. \u201cSo [I have] some iPhone footage that\u2019s, like, so grainy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside of better video coverage, Cahill said she wanted to keep her party going \u2014 and shouldn\u2019t have cut it off so early.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish that we had arranged for people to stay later at ours,\u201d she added of her second wedding dream doover.<\/p>\n

In December 2025, Hallmark unveiled its \u201cWinter Escape\u201d lineup, featuring five new rom-coms that began airing in January. Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding headlined the first movie of 2026, Lost in Paradise, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cahill\u2019s look back at her nuptials comes after she traded in her acting cap for the role of wedding planner and overall hype woman for Hallmark+\u2019s Mom\u2019s the Bride<\/em> series.<\/p>\n

On the show, Cahill lends her expertise and becomes a sounding board for daughters planning their mom\u2019s dream weddings.<\/p>\n

Every episode highlights a different mother-daughter duo and a completely unique wedding to execute, from a Christmas-themed affair to a country-focused ceremony. The thing they all have in common? Love \u2026 and maybe some tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t hold it together. I cried every single wedding,\u201d Cahill told Us<\/em> of filming the show, which started in October 2025 and wrapped just last month. \u201cBut somewhere between, like, mist and then just full on, [heavy breathing].\u201d<\/p>\n

She confessed, \u201cAt one of the weddings, I had to fully collect myself, because I was like, \u2018This is so beautiful.\u2019 It [shows] what\u2019s possible in relationships. So no, girl, I didn\u2019t hold it together at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHallmark Channel movies often stick to a formula \u2014 and when it comes to similar character jobs, fans have noticed. \u201cMore than once, I\u2019ve been a pastry chef or a chef,\u201d Lacey Chabert exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2021. \u201cSo people always ask me like, \u2018Do you like to cook?\u2019 I actually, genuinely, love [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cahill explained that amid the emotional stories highlighted there are some struggles associated with trying to pull off the perfect event in such a short period of time. The Journey to You<\/em> actress noted that for the premiere episode, they filmed the weekend before Christmas 2025, which she called \u201cthe best way to kick off Christmas,\u201d but it was a lot of work.<\/p>\n

\u201cLogistically, they were all challenging in their own ways,\u201d she teased. \u201cJust for our crew, and making sure that we elevated and added to every wedding and made sure that they came off without a hitch.\u201d<\/p>\n
