Former Bachelorette Emily Maynard Johnson<\/strong>\u2019s 20-year-old daughter, Ricki, is enjoying her postpartum bliss after welcoming her first baby.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow is she real life?\u201d Ricki gushed via her Instagram Stories on Friday, January 23, sharing a selfie with newborn Romi from a hospital bed.<\/p>\n

Ricki also shared photos of Romi sleeping and getting her first bath.<\/p>\n

Ricki, Maynard Johnson\u2019s daughter with late ex-fianc\u00e9 Ricky Hendrick<\/strong>, announced that she was expecting a baby in August 2025. Weeks later, Ricki asked her mother, 39, about her having \u201ca baby outside marriage.\u201d (Ricki has not publicly revealed the identity of Romi\u2019s father.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBachelorette alum Emily Maynard\u2019s daughter, Ricki Hendrick, is officially a mom. Ricki, 20, confirmed the arrival of her first baby on Friday, January 23. \u201cBest day ever,\u201d she wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of her a doctor showing her the newborn shortly after giving birth. Ricki also shared a photo of her mom, 39, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cVery against it,\u201d Maynard Johnson sarcastically joked in a social media clip shared in September 2025. \u201cI cannot believe anybody would ever do that. Unforgivable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ricki was in on the joke, pretending that Maynard Johnson was \u201cso upset\u201d to become a grandmother at 39.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom is truthfully so devastated, she\u2019s so upset,\u201d Ricki sarcastically quipped, sharing footage of the plethora of baby gear that Maynard Johnson already purchased for her grandchild. \u201cShe\u2019s not excited at all for me to have a baby. She\u2019s pissed, actually. She\u2019s super angry. She can\u2019t even look at me. She doesn\u2019t support it at all. She is pissed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ricki went on to sincerely praise her mom for her support, too.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are all things she got on her own and she is not done,\u201d she said of Maynard\u2019s gifts. \u201cThis is all stuff at her house too, not even my own.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ricki revealed earlier on Friday that she had given birth.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest day ever,\u201d the new mom gushed via Instagram, sharing photos from her C-section.<\/p>\n

Maynard Johnson and her husband, Tyler Johnson<\/strong>, were presumably present in the hospital, according to other post-childbirth pics.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe became grandparents today!!\u201d Johnson, 39, wrote via Instagram. \u201cThe feeling is inexpressible \ud83e\udd0d\ud83e\udd0d\ud83e\udd0d<\/span>. This is love.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a second post shared via his Instagram Stories, Johnson gushed that he had \u201cno words\u201d after meeting baby Romi.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFrom final rose to mom of five, it\u2019s clear family is a priority for Emily Maynard Johnson. Bachelor Nation was introduced to the North Carolina native when she was a single mother to daughter Ricki. During her pregnancy, Maynard Johnson was engaged to Ricky Hendrick before he died in an airplane accident in October 2004 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhat a day,\u201d Johnson said. \u201cJust every ounce of love I have for my baby and her baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maynard Johnson was previously engaged to NASCAR driver Hendrick before he tragically died in a 2004 plane crash while she was pregnant. Maynard Johnson gave birth to Ricki in 2005, six years before joining the Bachelor<\/i> franchise. While Maynard was briefly engaged to Brad Womack<\/strong> after season 15 of the reality dating show, she led the next year\u2019s The Bachelorette. <\/i>Maynard Johnson ended her season engaged to Jef Holm<\/strong>, but they split several months later.<\/p>\n

Maynard Johnson later moved on with Johnson, tying the knot in 2015.<\/p>\n
