KJ Apa<\/strong> has officially had enough of Mr. Fantasy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Riverdale<\/em> actor, 28, has long been suspected of being the viral TikTok star-turned-musician who blew up last year, but according to Apa, it\u2019s all a case of identity theft.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been something going on for a long time that I haven\u2019t addressed because I didn\u2019t think it was even worth addressing, but now because of how it\u2019s impacted my life personally, I feel like I have to talk about it,\u201d Apa said in an Instagram video on Wednesday, May 6. \u201cI have to do it now because it\u2019s hurting me and my career.\u201d<\/p>\n

Apa didn\u2019t mention Fantasy by name but alluded to the musician\u2019s recent \u201cDo Me Right\u201d music video, which features several of Apa\u2019s friends and colleagues, including former Riverdale<\/em> costars Camila Mendes<\/strong>, Lili Reinhart<\/strong> and Madelaine Petsch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was recently a music video that was released that included a bunch of people who are really close to me by a guy who\u2019s completely and utterly stolen my image and misappropriated my image and my likeness,\u201d Apa said in the video. \u201cAnd I think we all know who we\u2019re talking about. It\u2019s f***ed up. It\u2019s f***ed up because I just lost out on a huge job and can no longer go in for serious work because people think that I\u2019m a joke because of this guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI don\u2019t know what to do about it other than bring it here and do everything that I can to protect myself because it\u2019s completely f***ing disrespectful and completely wrong to do that. If anyone out there thinks that it\u2019s OK to take someone\u2019s image, literal tattoos, and use it for their own success, [you are] completely wrong. I can\u2019t just sit back and watch it happen and see my life, literally everything that I\u2019ve worked hard for, now come to a halt because of this f***ing idiot. That\u2019s all I\u2019ll say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Apa concluded his video, \u201cThis person advocates for positivity and for kindness and all this stuff \u2026 Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you\u2019re not a f***ing liar and a thief. Because that\u2019s exactly what you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the comments section of Apa\u2019s video, the star\u2019s friends played along<\/del> weighed in with messages of consolation.<\/p>\n
