According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Madrid are interested in signing the Juventus star this summer as they aim to avenge their nightmare season with Barcelona dominant again in Spain.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The report states that Y\u0131ld\u0131z is Florentino P\u00e9rez’s dream signing this summer and the longstanding Madrid president yields substantial influence at the Spanish giants. The mooted move to Los Blancos would reunite Y\u0131ld\u0131z with his international colleague Arda G\u00fcler, which would delight supporters in T\u00fcrkiye. The 21-year-old, however, recently penned a long-term contract extension at Juventus, so we\u2019ve explained why Y\u0131ld\u0131z joining Madrid this summer must be viewed as extremely unrealistic.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Firstly, it\u2019s imperative to start by highlighting that Y\u0131ld\u0131z only committed his future to Juventus in February by signing a new deal until 2023. I Bianconeri rolled the red carpet out to convince the starlet to remain in Turin with Alessandro Del Piero prominent in the announcement and they made him one of the highest paid players at the club. Y\u0131ld\u0131z is viewed as the future of Juve as they aim to return to former glories and he wasn\u2019t short of suitors, so there was no pressure to sign. Y\u0131ld\u0131z spoke affectionately about his love for the club with Juve reaffirming their ambition to become one of the best clubs in Europe. The Turkish international is the figurehead for their aspirations and Juve are under no financial pressure to sell their prized asset.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Losing a game is often enough to spark a perceived crisis at Madrid but they are currently submerged by problems. They don\u2019t currently have a manager for next season, there\u2019s significant dressing room unrest fuelled by Kylian Mbapp\u00e9, players are reportedly fighting each other and Vinicius Junior\u2019s contract situation needs to be sorted. There\u2019s also the small issue of Barcelona winning the title in El Clasico this weekend. Madrid currently have the most valuable squad in the world but it remains unbalanced and requires surgery this summer, but the priority isn\u2019t a new-left winger – unless Vini Jr leaves.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Brazilian\u2019s future is a hot topic as he enters the last year of his contract at Madrid this summer and a decision needs to be made. If Vini leaves then it could create an opening on the left-wing but that\u2019s also Mbapp\u00e9\u2019s preferred position, which has already caused tensions. Yildiz can also play behind a striker but Madrid have G\u00fcler and Jude Bellingham for that role and there\u2019s also Nico Paz. Even if they fail to secure the financial windfall from qualifying for the most prestigious club competition, Juve wouldn\u2019t be under pressure to sell but Yildiz could begin to question his future.
