Blake Lively<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0requested financial damages after her shocking settlement with Justin Baldoni <\/span><\/strong>over their It Ends With Us<\/i><\/span> legal dispute.<\/p>\n

Lively, 38, filed a notice of settlement, in which she requested damages to cover her\u00a0 attorneys\u2019 fees and costs, as well as compensatory and punitive damages, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/i> on Thursday, May 7.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Lively respectfully requests a ruling that she is a \u2018prevailing defendant\u2019 \u2026 and, as such, that she is entitled to: her \u2018reasonable attorney\u2019s fees and costs for successfully defending [herself] in the litigation,\u2019 treble damages for the harm caused by the Wayfarer Parties\u2019 retaliatory \u2018defamation action\u2019 against her and punitive damages sufficient to deter the Wayfarer Parties from engaging in such conduct in the future,\u201d the court docs read, referencing Baldoni\u2019s Wayfarer Studios. \u201cFollowing those legal determinations, Ms. Lively respectfully requests that the Court set a schedule for the submission of affidavits and a decision, after an evidentiary hearing, if necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lively further claimed that she is \u201centitled\u201d to receive damages because of the \u201charm\u201d she suffered as a result of the defendants\u2019 \u201cretaliatory defamation action.\u201d<\/p>\n
