Blake Shelton<\/strong> may not have been in attendance at Gwen Stefani<\/strong>\u2019s Las Vegas show, but he had a good reason why.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife came to town. She\u2019s here. I mean, she\u2019s not here. She\u2019s over there. The other venue,\u201d Shelton, 49, said during his Wednesday, May 6, performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. \u201cWhat kind of a d***head books us on the exact same nights, every single night? I think my manager did that, and he\u2019s here, isn\u2019t he?\u201d<\/p>\n

Shelton went on to explain that Stefani, 56, was also in Sin City for the opening night of her band No Doubt\u2019s Las Vegas residency.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife, Gwen Stefani. I like to say it out loud. I know it\u2019s kind of douchey. She\u2019s playing tonight over at the Sphere,\u201d Shelton explained. I\u2019m so glad y\u2019all aren\u2019t there. It\u2019s weird to say, but it\u2019s true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the things that I heard her say on stage was, and I thought to myself, \u2018Man, if I ever get to do a residency in Vegas, I\u2019m gonna do that too.\u2019 She got on stage, she goes, \u2018We\u2019re in Las Vegas. We can do whatever in the hell we wanna do.\u2019 OK? Don\u2019t tell any authorities that I said that to you \u2026 You\u2019re on your own,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut I heard Gwen say that, and then she would sing whatever songs she was gonna sing. It would freak people out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shelton and Stefani exchanged vows in July 2021. Shelton was previously married to Kaynette Gern<\/strong> from 2003 to 2006 and then Miranda Lambert<\/strong> from 2011 to 2015, while Stefani was with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale<\/strong> from 2002 to 2016. (Stefani and Rossdale share sons Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 12.)<\/p>\n
