As the Mike Vrabel<\/strong> and Dianna Russini<\/strong> scandal continues to add more pages than a quarterback\u2019s playbook, an NFL veteran has weighed in on the controversy\u2014 and he has a hot take.<\/p>\n

Former Pro Bowl wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh<\/strong> saw the TMZ<\/em> report on Wednesday, May 6, showing alleged visual evidence that the pair rented a boat while Russini, 43, was pregnant in 2021. Now, he\u2019s thinking there could be more to the story.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis wasn\u2019t an affair. That\u2019s his girlfriend, they were dating,\u201d Houshmandzadeh, 48, said in an appearance on the \u201cSpeakeasy\u201d YouTube show on Wednesday. \u201cThat\u2019s a decision he made, and she also made.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further alleged that \u201cit wouldn\u2019t surprise me\u201d if the baby \u201cmight\u201d belong to Vrabel, 50.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tNew England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini were caught on video during their controversial boat trip together in June 2021.\u00a0 TMZ Sports posted the clip on Thursday, May 7, which allegedly shows Vrabel, 50, and Russini, 43, on the dock of a private boat rental company in Putnam County, Tennessee.\u00a0 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The alleged boat rental happened one year after Russini married her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt<\/strong>. Vrabel has been married to his wife, Jen<\/strong>, since 1999.<\/p>\n

Russini and Goldschmidt share two children. She was pregnant with her oldest when reports indicate she and Vrabel rented a private boat in Putnam County, Tennessee for two to three hours with no other passengers.<\/p>\n

Over the past month, photos and reports of Vrabel and Russini\u2019s alleged relationship have continued to surface, beginning with pictures published by Page Six<\/em> on April 7 that showed them appearing to hold hands and embrace at an Arizona resort. Since then, photos have emerged of them seemingly kissing in a bar in 2020 and together at a casino in 2024.<\/p>\n

Russini and Vrabel both downplayed the controversy at first, saying the photos were innocent. Russini, however, later resigned from her job at The Athletic<\/em> amid an internal investigation into the scandal and Vrabel took time away from the team during the NFL Draft to seek counseling.<\/p>\n
