Disney CEO Josh D\u2019Amaro, who took over for Bob Iger earlier this year, has emphasized his intent to streamline the Disney experience, making the relationship between Disney+ and the Disney parks more cohesive.<\/p>\n
\u201cDisney+ becomes the primary relationship between Disney and its fans, the place where everything comes together,\u201d D\u2019Amaro said on Disney\u2019s quarterly earnings call this week.<\/p>\n
The project is a bit reminiscent of Elon Musk\u2019s desire to turn X into an \u201ceverything app\u201d like China\u2019s WeChat (though X recently launched a stand-alone chat app, which is counterintuitive).
