width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>During the Apollo 12 mission in 1969, astronaut Alan Bean reported \u201cflashes of light\u201d and noted that they seemed to be \u201csailing off into space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As space travel was still a very new phenomenon in those days, the ground crew was understandably baffled.<\/p>\n<p>Years later, Apollo 17 astronauts reported \u201cjagged\u201d points of light that were \u201ctumbling\u201d and \u201crotating way out in the distance,\u201d and a photo of the phenomenon is included in today\u2019s data dump.<\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s unlikely to convince any non-believers.<\/p>\n<p>The files also contain internal military memos describing \u201cone possible small UAP\u201d in Iraq in 2022, as well as \u201cmultiple glares or light from an unknown origin\u201d observed in Syria in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Many experts believe that those incidents can most likely be chalked up to foreign intelligence operations.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the files have become a sort of supernatural Rohrshach test, with everyone projecting their own beliefs and agendas onto the information available.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Rep. Lauren Boebert, for example, who thinks we\u2019re dealing with proof of demons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do believe that this is more spiritual and, if you really want to go there, demonic,\u201d she said on social media today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe American people can now access the federal government\u2019s declassified UAP files instantly,\u201d the White House said in a press release, adding: <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe latest UAP videos, photos, and original source documents from across the entire United States government are all in one place \u2014 no clearance required.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe American people have asked for more transparency on these topics, and President Trump is delivering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s still a lot more information to be released.
