Rodriguez\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>PHOTO ONE<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, May 7, the beloved <em>Full House<\/em> alum took to his Instagram page to update his fans and followers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven\u2019t posted in quite a while,\u201d Coulier acknowledged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last time that I did, some of you said that I looked differently and I sound differently,\u201d he recalled. \u201cAnd I do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coulier explained: \u201cWhat you\u2019re seeing is the side effects of the extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He detailed: \u201cand so I haven\u2019t been able to eat solid food in months.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DYDD6AgRGAy\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>\u201cSo I\u2019ve lost 45 pounds,\u201d Coulier confirmed. \u201cThat\u2019s what you\u2019re seeing. And it\u2019s affected my ability to speak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He noted: \u201cSome of you said that I sound differently, so, yeah, you\u2019re right on with what you\u2019re seeing and what you\u2019re hearing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coulier continued: \u201cBut just a recap: a year-and-a-half ago, I had non-Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma, and I went through chemotherapy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>These days, he told his followers, his hair \u201cis kind of growing back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In even better news, his most recent PET scans apparently looked promising. That\u2019s great!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dave Coulier Talks Early Cancer Detection: &#039;Saved My Life Twice&#039;\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MRumUsqFvJg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>PHOTO THREE<\/p>\n<p>After two cancer diagnoses and then going into remission twice, he sounds downright upbeat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe prognosis looks good for both the carcinoma in my throat and the lymphoma,\u201d Coulier updated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we\u2019re very pleased with all of that,\u201d he expressed.<\/p>\n<p>Coulier shared that, during this recovery time, he has been \u201ccreating artwork\u201d and delving into \u201ccreative writing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He told his fans: \u201cWe\u2019re looking out for your health and so I wish good health to all of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DU9ft1FCoSB\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>In November of 2024, Coulier disclosed that he had a \u201cvery aggressive\u201d form of stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.<\/p>\n<p>Within five months, he was cancer-free. However, he received more bad news later in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>That December, he shared that doctors had diagnosed him with p16 squamous carcinoma, which is an HPV-related throat cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Though Coulier has said that he\u2019s trying to change which products he uses, we should acknowledge that cancers caused by viruses are best prevented with vaccines \u2014 not by changing to more expensive toothpastes.<\/p>\n<p>We hope that his recovery continues and we wish him the very best.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async defer src=\"https:\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><br \/>\n<br \/><a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading Time: 2 minutes How is Dave Coulier doing?
