She was very ill throughout the 4 years that we worked together. But she was on a mission. She put herself and her own needs last.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Jones\u2019 book, Mercury fathered Bibi with a married friend, and he kept her existence a secret for the remainder of his life.<\/p>\n<p>Jones says the book is based on 17 volumes of Mercury\u2019s private journals, which were given to her by Bibi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe had read my 2021 book about Freddie, Love of My Life,\u201d Jones explained, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe emailed me to say that I had come closer to the real Freddie in that book than any previous writer or filmmaker \u2014 she particularly loathed Queen\u2019s film <em>Bohemian Rhapsody<\/em> \u2014 but that there were \u2018still some things I should know.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe worked together for 4 years to get the book written and published \u2014 on borrowed time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time that Jones\u2019 book was published, Mercury\u2019s former fianc\u00e9e Mary Austin gave an interview in which she stated that she would be \u201castonished\u201d to learn that Mercury had a secret daughter.<\/p>\n<p>We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading Time: 3 minutes We have tragic news to report from the world of music today.
