At one point in time, Love Island USA stars Kaylor Martin and Liv Walker had all the signs of being best friends forever.
After meeting on the Peacock reality show in 2024, both Kaylor and Liv found themselves single and ready to mingle when they left the villa.
In fact, the fan favorites grew a bond that left fans wanting to see them on more reality shows.
“Look, I would never say no to any experience, because Love Island brought me Kaylor and my best friend,” Liv exclusively shared with Us Weekly in August 2024. “Who knows. Maybe I’ll come in as a bombshell.”

Kaylor added, “The only way I’m going on any Love Island is if I’m hand in hand with my best friend as bombshells. Let’s go. If I’m going as an OG without my bitch or vice versa, absolutely not.”
One year after making their reality TV debuts, both Kaylor and Liv found themselves together again on Love Island: Beyond the Villa. Their friendship, however, began to fall apart with cameras documenting every move.
In a candid January 2026 interview with Gia Giudice, Kaylor shared her side of the friendship breakup and offered an update on where she stands with today. Keep reading for a surprise update:

After the cameras stopped rolling and Serena Page and Kordell Beckham were announced the winners of Love Island USA season 6, Kaylor found it hard to navigate life in the spotlight. Fortunately, she had a friend in Liv.
“I had a best friend and someone that also went through the same process, so it was great,” she explained on the January 11, 2026, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Casual Chaos” podcast. “Then, when we went to Los Angeles, we both got separate places and something happened with the camera situation that really hurt me because I don’t like white lies or anything like that. I’m just not like that.”
According to Kaylor, Liv allegedly lied about a camera that a brand sent that was supposed to be used by both of them for content opportunities.
Kaylor Martin and Liv Walker’s Feud Over Glam
When the pair agreed to film Love Island: Beyond the Villa with their season 6 costars, Kaylor asked Liv if she was getting glam done.
“I don’t know what to wear,” she said on the “Casual Chaos” podcast when recalling the first shoot days. “Am I getting glam on my hair and makeup? I don’t know what the vibes are your first time on a show.”
According to Kaylor, Liv said she wasn’t getting glam but arrived looking professionally done.
“It’s not that serious anymore. We move past it,” Kaylor said on the podcast. “But then we got into arguments on the show obviously because things were happening.”
Kaylor Martin Recalls Rewatching ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’
While filming a reality show is hard enough, reliving the scenes can be even trickier, according to Kaylor.
“I will watch things back and clips that I didn’t know actually happened, or watch myself back in a vulnerable state and it brings it back,” she explained. “I really believe everything happens for a reason. I’m so happy. I have my hometown friends that are my best friends that I’ve had for life. I’m good.”
Kaylor said she wishes Liv the best and will “always have a lot of love for her, but overall, it’s done.”

Kaylor Martin and Liv Walker Reunite in Las Vegas
In August 2025, Kaylor and Liv reunited at the “Unwell Vegas” event hosted by Alex Cooper.
“We saw each other in person and talked to each other,” Kaylor shared on the “Casual Chaos” podcast. “But other than that, we don’t text.”
Kaylor went on to describe their current relationship status as “cordial,” but they don’t even interact on each other’s social pages.
“We’re just ghost followers at this point,” she added. “I don’t talk to her at all.”
