Biles, 29, took to TikTok on Monday, April 27, to question the amount she spent to look her best on the red carpet. “If you’re a celebrity, athlete, influencer, these questions are for you,” she started the video. “I need to know if this is normal.”
“I know going outside is expensive as f*** these days, but like, is it this expensive?” Biles asked. The gymnast went on to explain that she was shocked to see a “grand total of $23,000” on her invoice, including a fee from her stylist and hair and makeup team. “I just want to know, is that f***ing normal?”
Biles notably stunned in a one-shoulder feathered mini dress and an elegant updo during the Laureus World Sports Awards on April 20.

Influencer Madeleine White also shared her two cents. “I stopped using stylists years ago cuz it’s cheaper to buy a gown I at least get to keep lol… I would expect to pay around 1k each for hair / makeup 🙃.”
