Princess Charlotte has been known to rock playful, unexpected nail colors, and her latest manicure follows suit. In a new portrait shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram account to celebrate her 11th birthday on May 2, the young royal wears a soft, light blue shade—one of the hottest spring nail trends this year.
Nail experts have spotlighted shades of light blue, such as baby blue and sky blue, as some of the best spring nail polish colors, thanks to their soft finish and versatility. The hue can skew cooler with a chrome overlay or warmer in a robin’s egg tone, making it easy to transition from season to season.
It’s not new territory for her. Back in 2025, she stepped out with bubblegum pink jelly nails at Wimbledon.
