CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man died after crashing a Jeep into multiple homes in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the city’s South Side early Sunday morning, according to Chicago police.
Additionally, police say two guns were recovered from the vehicle.

According to police, a white Jeep Cherokee was going west in the 0-100 block of East Marquette Road just before 5:30 a.m. when it lost control and hit multiple homes and property, including in the 6600 block of South Wabash Avenue.
The 18-year-old driver sustained fatal injuries, police say. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Two passengers in the Jeep were also injured, an unidentified male and a 14-year-old boy, according to police.

Both were taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
No other information is available, and police say Major Accidents is investigating.
