The NBA held its tiebreaker drawings in Secaucus, N.J., on Monday, reshuffling lottery odds and locking in a non-lottery order.
The results of the drawings are as follows:
- The Utah Jazz (22-60) won a tiebreaker with the Sacramento Kings.
- The New Orleans Pelicans (26-56) won a tiebreaker with the Dallas Mavericks.
- The Phoenix Suns (45-37) won a tiebreaker with the Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers. Second and third place in the tiebreaker drawings went to Philadelphia and Orlando, respectively.

The 2026 NBA Draft Lottery will be held Sunday, May 10, at 3 p.m. ET, with the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft taking place weeks later, on Tuesday, June 23rd.
Here are the 14 teams that have a chance at the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft:
- Washington – 14.0%
- Indiana – 14.0%
- Brooklyn – 14.0%
- Utah – 11.5%
- Sacramento – 11.5%
- Memphis – 9.0%
- New Orleans (to Atlanta or Milwaukee) – 6.8%
- Dallas – 6.7%
- Chicago – 4.5%
- Milwaukee – 3.0%
- Golden State – 2.0%
- LA Clippers (to Oklahoma City) – 1.5%
- Miami – 1.0%
- Charlotte – 0.5%
NBA franchises have been particularly keen on this draft class, as evidenced by tanking measures taken by multiple teams at the end of the season. The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie dove into how absurdly deep the 2026 draft class is, with Kansas’ Darryn Peterson, BYU’s AJ Dybantsa, Duke’s Cameron Boozer and North Carolina’s Caleb Wilson leading the pack in a talented draft pool.
